I have been using as CISS system from City Ink Express for a number of years now. When our printer gave up, one of the considerations for the new one was "what printers is the CISS system available for?"

We run a small craft business and do a lot of printing. From packing cards for our coasters to leaflets to include with all purchases. Over the years I’m sure this system has saved us hundreds of pounds, it really is amazing how far one 100ml bottle of ink goes.

The team are also really helpful. When we had a problem installing on the new printer (ours not theirs), they were on the end of the phone giving us advice. I have recommended them in the past and would certainly do so again in the future - thank you City Ink Express!

I bought my CISS ink system nearly 3 years ago for my Epson Workforce WF-7515 and quickly got everything set up thanks to the easy to use online instructions. Originally this was for personal use but now I mostly use it for when I am working at home and I have printed literally thousands of documents without any issues (I think my printer will probably wear out before the CISS!!) I use the dye inks and think they are very good quality and exceptional value for money.

I can`t imagine how many cartridges I would have gone thorough without the City Ink Express system and I know this has saved me a small fortune in printer running costs. I also persuaded my Mum to get a CISS from City Ink Express a few months ago and she is also delighted with hers.

On the 6th July 2018 I ordered a CISS Continuous System for my Epson XP-645 Printer/scanner from CityInkExpress on the internet via eBay. The package duly arrived within the stated delivery time.

After watching the fitting process on YouTube, I installed the CISS system on my printer. The helpful CityInkExpress video made the fitting a simple task. The system worked perfectly after a few minor adjustments.

You have supplied me most recently with a new replacement CISS system with ink for my Brother MFC-J6720DW. The old one, which has become a bit messy, has worked perfectly for two years or so, giving excellent print quality with vibrant colours, noticeably better than the standard or own brand replacement ink cartridges and at vastly cheaper prices. So much so that my newer Epson WF-7710 is now fitted with this system and I look forward to many years good service from that too.

In fact, I so much like this system of ink supply that I have bought a replacement printer for my girlfriend in Ghana, Africa - an Epson ET-2600 - which has this kind of system built in, and she too is now full of enthusiasm over it. Keep up the good work. I will be back for more inks in due course for all these machines.

I have been looking for a photo quality printer which would accept 300gm2 card and print at a reasonably fast speed. At last I found the Canon IP8750 with CISS at City Ink Express. From the write-up it sounded exactly what I needed. I placed my order and was really surprised when it arrived the next day in less than 24 hours. I have already used printers with CISS but was surprised that this one came without the ink in the system, so at first, I was a little bit daunted at the task of having to do the initial filling of the system and then priming each of the six ink colours. But after watching the easy step by step video instructions it turned out to be a lot easier that I first thought. The next step was to test the printing. I went straight for my 300gm2 Photo Card and was relieved that the card fed through without any trouble and the Photo quality was a lot better that I expected. The use of Pigment Black as well as Dye Based Black really makes the photos more vibrant.

Having thought long and hard before buying a CISS system, I have to say that the last 3 years have changed my mind completely. The simplicity of the CISS system from Cityink Express and the the staggering sums of money saved make this a must have for parents (since so much can wasted by kids) and business alike. Once setup, you simply pull out the cartridge and re-seat it, (I usually wait 4-5 secs) to make it be recognised once more.

Think of it this way, the cost of the entire CISS system is less than 2 original ink sets from EPSON!

Quality - The prints that I have produced are excellent and have been used in friends official wedding photo albums the print outs are that good. Could a skilled artist or expert designer tell the difference between inks? Not sure, however they normally use colour laser-jets, which are far too expensive for us. Assuming you use the correct photo quality paper, then the ink dries immediately, everytime! Also works fine on normal paper, if it stays wet, it is the fault of the paper, not the inks, I can assure you.

Refilling - With the CISS system this is almost never required, however the first fill up is straightforward and links to YouTube videos can be found including some from Cityinks.

TIP: Make sure the cables are not too tight, or do not bend too much or it can restrict ink flow.

Well I think it's a wonderful system - see the attached photo for my setup. It paid for itself when I had my first real commercial order, for 120 double-sided flyers. I would normally expect that much printing to use a significant amount of an ink cartridge.

I intend to continue with this setup for pretty much the life of the printer. Thanks very much for such a great system!
