I thought for a very long time about buying a CISS system and then after seeing my parents one in action I decided to bite the bullet of the initial expense and go for it for my Epson printer. After owning the CISS for over 4 years I have to say it was the best thing I ever did!

The huge amount of money I have saved over the years must total a staggering amount and I haven't had to replace cartridges all the time as it holds so much ink and it was so easy to set up.

I have just replaced my 8 year old Epson printer with a newer Epson model (as my old one was starting to fail on the paper feed) and of course the first thing I have done is head straight over to City Ink Express to see what CISS and refillable cartridge systems are available for it.

It's such a shame that my old 4 ink feed CISS system isn't compatible with my new 5 ink printer, but I've certainly had my moneys worth out of it.

For years I have been vexed every time I had to buy more ink that cost considerably more than the printer itself. This always seemed bizarre and to be honest rather a con. Indeed one day I typed into Google “Is the cost of printer ink a conspiracy?” and was amazed that I wasn’t the only one with this notion and proceeded to read more and more articles. Eventually I was directed to a page that discussed CityInkExpress and its Continuous Ink System and I was intrigued. Surely this was too good to be true, but with the promise of such cheap running costs I took the plunge and purchased the kit for my Canon Pixma MG7751.

The package arrived the very next day which was fantastic and after following the instructions online and about an hour later I was up and running with no issues and perfect prints. I can’t tell you how satisfying this product is both in terms of installing it which is empowering, but I am safe in the knowledge that I can print to my hearts content without the dreaded feeling that at any moment a cartridge will run out and I’m left high and dry.

I wish more people new about this solution and I will certainly be spreading the word far and wide so others can join the revolution and fight back at the ridiculous monopoly these companies hold over us. Bravo CityInkExpress, keep up the good work.

You have supplied me most recently with a new replacement CISS system with ink for my Brother MFC-J6720DW. The old one, which has become a bit messy, has worked perfectly for two years or so, giving excellent print quality with vibrant colours, noticeably better than the standard or own brand replacement ink cartridges and at vastly cheaper prices. So much so that my newer Epson WF-7710 is now fitted with this system and I look forward to many years good service from that too.

In fact, I so much like this system of ink supply that I have bought a replacement printer for my girlfriend in Ghana, Africa - an Epson ET-2600 - which has this kind of system built in, and she too is now full of enthusiasm over it. Keep up the good work. I will be back for more inks in due course for all these machines.

I have been using City Ink Express for all my printing requirements. I have bought the Epson WF 3620 complete with the CISS, which I have found incredible for all my printing needs. I also purchase the Ink Refills at City Ink Express. I didn't think that printing can finally be so cheap! As far as after sales service I have always found fast and complete support from the team, which is great. I live outside of the UK and I get my parcels faster than any other sites I frequent online. EPSON Firmware Update

Epson have released a new firmware update, which will cause you printer to no longer recognise your continuous ink system and refillable cartridges. This is for any of the T29 cartridges, including the newer models that Epson have just released. We kindly ask for you to not update your printer firmware at the moment. We have no other solution for this now, but we will keep you updated. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. Having thought long and hard before buying a CISS system, I have to say that the last 3 years have changed my mind completely. The simplicity of the CISS system from Cityink Express and the the staggering sums of money saved make this a must have for parents (since so much can wasted by kids) and business alike. Once setup, you simply pull out the cartridge and re-seat it, (I usually wait 4-5 secs) to make it be recognised once more.

Think of it this way, the cost of the entire CISS system is less than 2 original ink sets from EPSON!

Quality - The prints that I have produced are excellent and have been used in friends official wedding photo albums the print outs are that good. Could a skilled artist or expert designer tell the difference between inks? Not sure, however they normally use colour laser-jets, which are far too expensive for us. Assuming you use the correct photo quality paper, then the ink dries immediately, everytime! Also works fine on normal paper, if it stays wet, it is the fault of the paper, not the inks, I can assure you.

Refilling - With the CISS system this is almost never required, however the first fill up is straightforward and links to YouTube videos can be found including some from Cityinks.

TIP: Make sure the cables are not too tight, or do not bend too much or it can restrict ink flow.

Having already fitted a CISS system to my Epson XP-202 and achieved excellent results.

When my God Daughter in Russia asked for a new printer for her birthday, I got her a new Epsom XP-342 and it went without saying City Ink Express's CISS system for the new printer.

Easy to set up with video help, she now doesn't worry about how many pictures she prints off because of the cost of cartridges.

I purchased my CISS system at the end of May 2018 to add to my brand-new Epson Workforce WF-7720. I was already a fan of the system having purchased a CISS unit from City Ink Express for my old Brother MFC-990 CW printer (which is still working flat out with no change of quality) back in December 2016.

The package arrived early the next day – amazing service. I opened up the tutorials on You Tube and found them so easy to follow – all done in real time. The installation was an absolute doddle with the WF-7720, in fact it took less time than the You Tube video took to run.

The printer has been in constant use in our small but busy office working alongside our old and trusty Brother MFC-990 CW. Since switching to CISS we have noticed a huge difference in the amount of waste ink cartridges and no inky fingers!

As plastic waste becomes more and more prevalent in the modern day, I would urge everyone to switch to CISS, it not only saves waste but saves money too – WIN WIN

Manufacturers will tell you , use any other ink that ours and it will damage your printer. I’m not saying that it is not possible to damage your printer but I have refilled cartridges many many times with City ink over the years without an issue. Now I like an easy life I’ve converted mine , my parents and a number of my friends to City Inks CISS system and they just work. Out of the printers I’ve converted I would guess my oldest is about five years old and none of them has had any problems with the prints being as good today as they were when new. I’ve asked City Ink for advice in the past and got a pretty immediate response with some helpful and knowledgeable people responding. So in short I would fully recommend City ink especially their CISS system and as the prices are pretty good I don’t see me going anywhere else for my ink anytime soon.

My first attempt to pick the pockets of those who make a fortune selling us a few mills of ink for a huge mark up. I did my homework, found the appropriate videos to watch (are you taking notes here?). Watched the videos again, watched for different machines to make sure they were not all the same but specific and took the plunge.

So far so good.

Delivery spot on ; ordered (At Bank Holiday weekend) on Friday and arrived Tuesday.

Packaging: sturdy box well packed. Contents more than adequate to do the job.

I had done my research and admire the people here make their video guides available to everyone.

I was sure I could do the filling process and ignored the advice to use one of the supplied large syringes... Big Mistake! If you have a shaky hand use the syringe (I’m still washing the ink off my fingers (which shows its good stuff I guess).

The guides are brilliant they make a simple process, well, simple! I’m printing off my song lists and the ink is no problem I did no Lab test research but it goes on, dries, no runs, no fading, no problem – as good as any I’ve bought ( I think). This is my first time using this service and am enjoying the freedom to print reams of stuff rather than only print essentials. I’ll see how much I print and let you know in a few months time.
