I have been using LYSON ink for years and I am very satisfied with the product.

Sustainability over time is however very much depending on the type of paper you use. HP paper glossy is good.

I previously retro fitted a CityInkExpress CISS to an old Epson printer I had it for may years and saved me literally £100s in ink. Now I have purchased a new Canon TS5051 with a CISS directly from CityInkExpress (cheaper than I could buy the printer alone).

Really helpful staff.

Great YouTube videos showing how to set everything up. Couldn't fault any of it.

Today we have a fantastic review from Dave for his Canon IP98750 CISS. If you'd like to be entered in our monthly prize draw, and receive a discount on all dye and pigment ink purchases, send your review to reviews@cityinkexpress.co.uk

This is my fourth purchase of a CIS system, two were bought as printer bundles and another two bought as CISS addons from CityInkExpress over the years for work and home.

As long as you have a few practical skills these are a must. Four children have all passed through secondary school and further education without once ever having to worry about the cost of new cartridges. All my stationary is printed with them for work.

The money saved is just fantastic.

My latest purchase was a Canon IP8750 A3 printer with CISS included and it doesn't dissapoint. If you have never had a continuous ink system try one you will be impressed.

The service from CityInkExpress has always been first class and when I did encounter a small problem it was resolved without any hassle. I would highly recommend them for CISS and ink supplies.

Today we have a fantastic review from Richard for Canon refillable inks. If you'd like to be entered in our monthly prize draw, and receive a discount on all dye and pigment ink purchases, send your review to reviews@cityinkexpress.co.uk

As usual excellent speedy service and excellent inks for Canon CISS system. I have used City Ink Express for years. Highly recommended.

I have been looking for a photo quality printer which would accept 300gm2 card and print at a reasonably fast speed. At last I found the Canon IP8750 with CISS at City Ink Express. From the write-up it sounded exactly what I needed. I placed my order and was really surprised when it arrived the next day in less than 24 hours. I have already used printers with CISS but was surprised that this one came without the ink in the system, so at first, I was a little bit daunted at the task of having to do the initial filling of the system and then priming each of the six ink colours. But after watching the easy step by step video instructions it turned out to be a lot easier that I first thought. The next step was to test the printing. I went straight for my 300gm2 Photo Card and was relieved that the card fed through without any trouble and the Photo quality was a lot better that I expected. The use of Pigment Black as well as Dye Based Black really makes the photos more vibrant.

Today we have a fantastic review from Sharon who has one of our CISS systems. If you'd like to be entered in our monthly prize draw, and receive a discount on all dye and pigment ink purchases, send your review to reviews@cityinkexpress.co.uk.

I purchased my CISS ink system for my Canon MG6850 printer in February 2018, after reading positive reviews and looking into a cheaper way of printing.

When the parcel arrived I opened it and was surprised to find the soldering iron, however the YouTube tutorials were comprehensive in taking me through step by step how to modify the printer, prime and load the ink system and install it into the printer. It was a complex process and did require 2 pairs of hands sometimes to make the job easier, and some of the lighting in the videos wasn't the best to see what was being demonstrated. I also had a minor problem with a damaged ink cartridge in my parcel however after a quick email I had a new one in the post toot sweet.

Since completing the installation of the system I have been very impressed with the printing results, great quality and so much more cost effective for me.

I would highly recommend the system to anyone who does a sizeable amount of printing, as after the initial outlay I believe the product will pay for itself in no time at all! Thank you City Ink Express!

Today we have a fantastic review from Alain who has used many of our products. If you'd like to be entered in our monthly prize draw, and receive a discount on all dye and pigment ink purchases, send your review to reviews@cityinkexpress.co.uk.

Cityink offers a lot of great products. I used these on all my printers (Canon, Epson, Brother) without ever having problems.

They are very professional and correct with the customers. Follow-ups and technical advice are always excellent.

I highly recommend these products that save us a lot of money while maintaining print quality.

Canon is a huge name in the printing industry. This Japanese company has been on the scene for more than 75 years, and the brand is synonymous with top-quality printing and photography equipment. Canon printers can be found in homes, schools and offices the world over – no matter what you need a printer for, Canon is a great choice.

Here are some of Canon’s best printers as of February 2014:

Canon PIXMA iP2702

Canon PIXMA iP2702
Brilliance on a Budget

The iP2702 is one of the most inexpensive colour printers you’re likely to find. Some people have criticised it for its slow print speed and the amount of noise it makes while printing, but for just £14.90 (the Amazon.co.uk price at time of writing), you can’t complain, can you?

Canon PIXMA MG6350

Canon PIXMA MG6350
Everything You Need

This is an all-in-one printer, which means that it can do scans and copies as well as straightforward prints. The quality that you get from the MG6350 is outstanding; it includes a ‘fast’ mode that cuts down on ink usage, and several Amazon reviewers have noted that the print-outs look great even in fast mode.

Canon PIXMA PRO-100

Canon PIXMA PRO-100
The Best Your Photos Can Get

Canon printers in general are pretty good for photo printing – after all, the company are arguably even better-known for their cameras than for their printers. Still, if you’re a professional photographer, you’ll want your snaps to look absolutely perfect when you print them off, and that’s where the PRO-100 comes in. It’s Canon’s top photo printer, and while it certainly isn’t cheap, the quality you get is well worth the cost.

Canon i-Sensys LBP7110CW

Canon i-Sensys LBP7110CW
 One for the Office

This big, heavy-duty printer is perfect for a busy office environment. It prints quickly and crisply, and since it's a laser printer (as opposed to the inkjet printers found in Canon's PIXMA range), your documents won't get smudged and you won't have to change the toner cartridge very often!

Remember, if you do buy a Canon printer, you can get Canon toner and Canon ink cartridges right here at CityInk Express!

I am an amateur photographer who is very serious about his work, taking mainly wildlife shots. I produce my own A4 and A3 Prints, along with Christmas cards and calendars. Some I sell and others are passed on to friends and family. What I’m leading up to is that I must have quality and get that quality as cheaply as possible (I am also retired). Don’t we all want those two anyway?

I have been using City Ink Express for quite some time now, and they fit those criteria. The inks have not faded one iota over at least two years, the colours are accurate and I don't have any waste because I am using a City Ink Express CISS system. I have used one on my Canon PIXMA iP4700 A4 printer for over two years now with absolutely no problems. I have now gone up a notch to A3 format with a new Canon PIXMA iX6550. I have purchased another City Ink Express CISS which is also problem free and saves me even more money.

I really cannot over emphasise how excellent City Ink’s service and product quality are and how much can be saved if only by using their inks. Much larger savings can be made by buying a CISS from them. Here are three savings.

1) Its inevitable when you change, handle or refill cartridges that you waste or lose some ink. By however small an amount - it all adds up over time.
2) It takes time to remove, refill and replace cartridges, then you still have to wash and tidy up which takes more time.
3) There is less wear and tear on your head (?) and other printer parts by not having to continually remove and replace cartridges.

You probably will not wear gloves and no matter how careful you are you will land up with some colourful fingers that last a day or three. Of course there is always the chance of a spillage, with yet more mess.
With a City Ink Express CISS all you need to do is pull out a stopper from whichever ink tank is low and top it up from your ink stock bottles. It’s that simple, easy, clean, quick and waste free. It’s like pouring milk into a cup of tea but is much quicker than making one, even if you should need to refill all five tanks it’s still quicker.

Set the system up, don’t tamper with it, use the printer as normal and it’ll save you TIME, MESS, MONEY and Grey, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow hair.
On the down side you’ll lose the rainbow effect on your fingers.
